Meet the Brains Behind Wellspring School

Prince Frimpong Kumi

Proprietor

Mr. Prince Frimpong Kumi serves as the proprietor of Wellspring School. As a Christian, he is a member of the Mount Zion Assemblies of God Church in Gbawe, Accra. With 13 years of experience in the banking industry, Prince has held various positions. Additionally, he is a diversified businessman. With his passion for human capital formation and development, Mr. Prince Frimpong Kumi is currently enrolled at Liverpool John Moores University, UK where he is studying Leadership in Education.

The establishment of the school was motivated by his family’s deep commitment to education and his affection for children and young people. Furthermore, the school’s founding pays tribute to the Proprietor’s mother, who boasts over 40 years of experience in the educational sector, having served in diverse roles including classroom teaching, examination, and supervision.

Cecilia Addai

Head Of Academics

Cecilia Addai serves as the Academic Head at Wellspring School. With over 40 years of experience in the education sector, she has been associated with esteemed institutions. Notably, she worked as an examiner for the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC). Her journey within the Ghana Education Service (GES) began as a classroom teacher and she steadily advanced to the position of Private Schools Coordinator for the Ga West Municipal office of the GES.

Abigail Ansong

Head Of Administration

Abigail Ansong is dedicated to assisting families in navigating the admissions process and identifying the ideal educational match for their children. She guides the admissions team in warmly welcoming new students and families to Wellspring School, leveraging her proficiency in enrollment management and parent engagement. As the administrative head of Wellspring School, she also oversees the day-to-day operations of the institution.

Paul Kumi

PTA Chairman

Mr. Paul Kumi is the chairman of the Parents Teacher Association (PTA). He is a Finance and Data Analyst. He is committed to being intentional with the PTA’s effort to be more inclusive, diverse and equitable and will focus the association on strengthening family and school partnerships. His mantra is, “Never underestimate the power of a parent’s voice!”

Mr. Kumi is a highly skilled Finance and Data Analyst with a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail. With a background in finance, management and computing, with a love for data-driven insights, Paul brings a unique blend of analytical prowess and business acumen to every project. Paul also serves as the President of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), demonstrating strong leadership skills and a commitment to community engagement.
